Dr Malki Prematillake

Dr. Malki is an experienced fully qualified Australian trained General practitioner who enjoys all aspects of General practice. She worked in Hervey Bay and Toowoomba hospitals in Queensland before she started her GP training. She has work experience as a General Practitioner in Toowoomba, Townsville, Ipswich, Kenmore and Toowong. She graduated from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2002.

Dr. Malki holds Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and has a special interest in women’s health. She is passionate about managing Menopause/Perimenopause, Periods problems, contraception, sexual health, pelvic pain and antenatal/ postnatal care. She is highly skilled in contraception devices insertions/ removals (Mirena/Kyleena/Copper) and Implanon.

In her personal life, Malki is a wife and mother of 3 daughters. Outside of medicine she enjoys cooking, travelling, spending time with her family and friends.
